Inverted Nipple Correction

Procedure:

There are multiple procedures to correct the inverted nipple and is different from retractile nipple. The main concern with the inverted nipple is difficulty in feeding. Most of the cases inversion is due to shortening of nipple base due to lack of duct development. Hence different techniques to retain the ducts.

Possible Side Effects:

Swelling/numbness for few days

Risks:

Lack of feeding potential, scar, minor nipple distortion which will improve gradually.

Recovery:

Can start the work from next day.

Results:

Majority will get good result/however re retraction/inability to feed are the reported issues.
